The Letter I got Rejecting My Labour Membership

So I applied to join the labout party and this is the response I got:

Maybe I regret sending an instant reaction, but this is what I sent:

First thing I checked after sending this was my Twitter account.

I've deleted no posts on Twitter ever but I've read everything I posted in January 2015.
There is absolutely nothing as described.

Just in case you can't read the screen shot this is what my letter says:

Dear John,

Thank you for your recent application to become a member of the Labour Party.

The Labour Party should be the home of lively debate, of new ideas and of campaigns to change society. However, for fair debate to take place, people must be able to air their views in an atmosphere of respect. They shouldn’t be shouted down, they shouldn’t be intimidated, and they shouldn’t be abused, either in meetings or online.

A panel of the National Executive Committee (NEC) has considered your application, and decided to invoke Appendix 2.1.B.x of the Labour Party’s rules, which states: “At any time before the individual is accepted as a full member of the Party, the General Secretary may rule that the individual application for membership be rejected for any reason which s/he sees fit”

Under the procedures of the National Executive Committee (NEC), if a rejected applicant for membership has acted in a way, within the past two years which, had s/he been a member at the time, would have meant they were auto-excluded from membership, there is no appeal against the decision to reject the application.

In your case, the reason for your application being rejected is as follows: You posted on Twitter in January 2015 an encouragement to others to join the green Party and a reference to you being a member of the Liberal Democrats. You have also since applied to be a registered supporter, but individuals, from whom an application for membership would not be accepted, cannot be accepted either as an affiliated or registered supporter.

Your application is therefore rejected and you will not have a vote in the current leadership election.

The NEC will not normally consider a further application for membership until two years has elapsed, unless you write to us and we consider there are exceptional circumstances.

and the text of my initial response is:

With regard to your rejection of my application to be a supporter and specifically:

I ASSUME THIS MEANS 

I WILL HAVE THE MONEY I HAVE PAID YOU RETURNED

my short time as a supporter of your party have left me never wishing to support your party for the rest of my life

i really hope you continue to ruin your own existence and i no longer ever have to think about you ever again

yes I was a life long supporter of the Liberal Democrats

yes I resigned my membership of that party in disgust at their tory coalition more than 7 years ago

something i would have thought the labour party would support

yes I did recommend the Green party in the past some time ago

however I attracted to join the labour party once it's values were clearly articulated to me

I campaigned hard for the liberal democrats all my life, knocking doors, persuading, making reasonable arguments, and winining many seats against the odds by being kind, being patient and I was greatly looking forward to bringing that passion to your the support of your party

I WILL NEVER SUPPORT YOU AGAIN

I passionately support Jeremy Corbyn and believe he certainly could win in a general election

I however am apalled and disgusted by the behaviour of others in your party who have brought it into disrepute

It was a difficult decision to send £25 to you that I could not afford

I WANT THIS BACK A.S.A.P.

and all membership monies received from myself since joining

I NEED THIS MONEY

and will not be wasting it in the way your stupid party seem to wish to

except with reference to returning my money

I would appreciate a response within 48 hours before I shall be investigating all options to take this matter further

Incensed to be rejected from Labour Party

So I really don't know what to do.

I started out by sharing this on Facebook, but I wanted to be a little bit more accessible.

So I started this blog.

I'll post here what I have already shared on Facebook.

Really I'm looking for some advice as there must be thousands of people in my position and if I've learn't one thing from my short time as a potential Labour member it's that collective action is more effective than crying alone.

I have no ideas whatsoever as what to do next, however I would appreciated any advice.
